responsive web page

USMNT

http://www.ussoccer.com

Responsive web pages are very important in todays world, and here is a very good example of a responsive site.

This is the main homepage of the United States Mens National Team. As you can see we have the main image navigation buttons search bar and an article. Watch what happens as we go down to tablet size.

As we go down to tablet size the main image and logo are still there but we can see that the search bar and navigation has moved down to the bottom of the page. The articles have moved to the image being on the top and title below the image rather than being side by side. Very responsive. Watch what happens as we go down to mobile device size.

As we get down to mobile device size the main image and logo, articles, and search bar have stayed the same but the size have shrunk down to accommodate mobile devices needs.

Here is one more page on the website to show you how responsive the site really is.

Responsive web design

     1. what is responsive web design?

Responsive web design is aimed for an optimal viewing experience on all devices. Such as mobile, tablet, and desktop. Making your website responsive to the needs of all devices will help determine the success of your website.

     2. why has responsive web design become so important?

Smartphones and tablets have changed the approach toward design and user experience. and now more mobile devices are browsing the internet than even desktop users. So responsive design has become very important.

     3. what are media queries?

media query consists of a media type and at least one expression that limits the style sheets' scope by using media features, such as width, height, and color. Media queries, added in CSS3, let the presentation of content be tailored to a specific range of output devices without having to change the content itself.  (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/CSS/Media_queries)

     4. what are breakpoints?

Breakpoints are a pause in the program to prevent bugging.

desktop and mobile trends

Is your website not doing as well as it should? Maybe you're not getting enough page views. Well there may be a simple solution, staying up with the trends. As of January 2014 the time spent on the internet with mobile devices and passed the time spent on desktop devices. Now what this means is that more people are using their mobile devices to use the internet rather than their desktops.

Now we will be analyzing onwravens.net to help predict the future trends. Over the last three years their website has seen a great increase in the number of mobile device users on their site, in turn has led to the decrease of the percentage of desktop users. The percentage of mobile users is 35% compared to desktops 55% this past year. Even though desktop users have the higher percentage mobile users percentage increases significantly every year by around 10%.

I have never been on the website using a mobile device only a desktop, so for the future I think desktop percentages will always stay higher than mobile device percentages but that does not mean they have to change their website. Because the percentage for mobile device usage is high and will probably grow onwravens.net has to alter their site to handle the needs of the movie device user.

Now to really make sure your website can handle the needs of the future, make sure that you accommodate the needs of the mobile device user as well as the needs of the desktop user. Because they both will determine if your website succeeds or not.

Ballin Blog

Be the best blog you can be

My Ballin blog was not always so Ballin. I know its hard to believe but there were a lot of tedious adjustments that I had to make, so my blog looked super Ballin. Mainly the cash money and the white lettering that goes together really made this blog Ballin.

Even though cash money makes this blog super Ballin. There were a few other things that I needed to do before I really got this blog up to dope status. And Im talking about them headers. Without the headers on your posts your loyal readers will have no idea what they are reading and they will get lost, making them lose interest in your blog.

Also you are a super awesome Baller you needs to get yourself out there so you can make some paper. So go ahead and make a personal page about yourself it really brings out your blog and makes your readers feel right at home.
How are you going to get noticed and score a huge record deal to really start making that paper if you don't have a google +1 button on your Ballin blog? You're not going to get noticed so get a cool gadget on there and start getting them subscribers!
Now if you follow these simple rules your blog will become Ballin in no time. Them you can start making some serious paper then become a true homie. Peace out fam.
